The Silence of Window Shopping

I see the searching. I see the "window shopping"—the looking around as if something better might be just out of sight. It’s a heavy realization to sit with, and it brings up questions that are hard to ask but even harder to ignore.

When you feel someone you care about looking elsewhere, it naturally turns the lens back on yourself. You start to audit your own heart and your own actions. I want to know: What have I done wrong? What is it that I’m not giving you?

Relationships aren’t just about being present; they are about being enough for one another. But when that "enough" feels like it’s being questioned, it leaves a raw, open wound. It’s not just about the fear of loss—it’s about the desire to understand where the disconnect started.

I’m sharing this because I know I’m not the only one who has felt this specific kind of isolation while standing right next to someone. Vulnerability isn’t a weakness; it’s the only way to find the truth.

How do you handle the moment you realize someone you love is looking for something you aren't providing?

Let's talk about it in the comments.
